Recently, we had a customer describe an issue to us where their car had died and wouldn’t start. It appeared, at first glance, to be a simple dead battery. The customer jump started the vehicle, which got it running again. A mile down the road, the car quit on him again. The problem? The alternator. Although it can also be caused by a loose battery terminal, the alternator is needed to recharge the vehicle’s battery. Without a battery, the car loses its electrical power and for many vehicles, will generally shut down.
The good news…we can help. Give us a call if you need us to diagnose or replace your alternator. Our staff of technicians is skilled in figuring out the problem and getting it solved for you. We’re here to help! Contact us today.
